Equilibrium

Equilibrium is a black metal band from Germany. The band also contains elements of folk and symphonic metal, combining instruments such as electric guitars, strings and flutes, as well as riffs which reflect traditional Germanic melodies. They are relatively new to the black metal scene but have had a lot of success, especially with their debut album Turis Fratyr and now with their last album Sagas and the recent European tour "Paganfest".

The lyrical themes of Equilibrium include Germanic tales and Germanic mythology. All the titles and lyrics are in German.

The group toured with Commander and Sycronomica in 2005.[1]

In 2006, Equilibrium signed with Nuclear Blast.

On June 27, 2008, Equilbrium released the critically acclaimed Sagas.

Equilibrium has agreed to be Wacken Open Air tour held in Wacken in Schleswig-Holstein, northern Germany. This festival includes more than 60 bands and is one of the biggest summer heavy metal tours in the world. [2]
